wroclaw I

after our stop in munich, we stayed with my aunt in wroclaw for three days before we left for prague. the first few days were pretty relaxed and chill. we explored the centre square and got familiarized with the best places to get coffee, beer, and food.

one of the days we set out for the wroclaw zoo. the zoo is one of the best in poland, and is really packed with the animal exhibits. its soo different from the zoo in toronto, where one has to walk a great deal from one exhibit to the next. in wroclaw it is all packed in together, so in less than an hour you've hit up all the sites.

after the zoo, we visited my grandma and my uncle, who live on the other side of wroclaw. since it had been sam's birthday the previous day, my grandma found him a gluten free birthday cake, and we had a little celebration!

the last day before we left for prague, we continued to visit the beer gardens and cafes in the centre sqaure, as well as stop by the botanical gardens. sam also got to try pork knuckle (golaka) which had been on his mind for some time.

the first few days were really nice and relaxed. we did a few touristy things, but for the most part we just enjoyed all the events and activities that the city had to offer.
