i had a great early start to my weekend on thursday at the kasabian concert! i FINALLY got to see them perform. i got into the band in highschool, probably in grade 10, and since then i've bought all their albums and been a devoted fan. what was missing was seeing them live. and now, i am complete.
the show was fantastic. they were exceptional live, with so much energy and full of entertainment. it was definitely better than i could have ever imagined. they did not let me down!

saturday was pretty low key. one of those study, write, and eat days. as usual, we went to our coffee shop and got working. sam was getting ready to present his research and study interests on monday (which i am pumped to report went REALLY well!!!!) and i finished off two papers due today.

what a way to spend 8 hours at work. i've definitely never worked quite an event like this, and i doubt i ever will again. it wasn't bad or anything, just different and confusing to someone who knows zero about this particular game. but as i saw last night, there is a whole starcraft world out there, with a thriving community and fans all over the world.
i hope everyone also had a wonderful and interesting weekend like i did!
