done.

fine art history specialist at university of toronto --- DONE

yes my friends, after all my whining and complaining, i am finally done. i still can't believe it!
it's a huge deal for me. like many people, i haven't had the easiest time these past five years at school, and i was ready to leave a couple times, so finishing up, despite everything, is the most satisfying feeling, and i'm pretty proud of myself for sticking it out.

i'm trying to figure out what the most exciting thing is about being done is. i guess it's many things, but i think the top ones are:

no more essay writing.

no more exams that are pretty much essays written in two hours.

no more dealing with crummy marks so that the profs keep a certain grade average.

no more college bubble where everyone knows everyone else's business.

what i'm MOST excited for is:

to move on to study jewelry design. go back into the arts. create work using my hands.

these are things i missed most while studying art history. i come from an arts background, and even planned on going to art school before deciding on u of t. these past few years have been tough because i wasn't too immersed in creative projects because i just didn't have the time.

things are about to change!

after my exam i treated myself to a banana macaron and a dulce de leche macaroon. yes, they're two different desserts, despite the names.

so now that i am done, time to tackle packing up for my trip. omg i leave tomorrow. this time tomorrow night i will be on my way! ah! so exciting!

i don't think ill be posting much these next two and a half weeks (ill try, depends on computer access) but i'll have so much to share with you when i get back! along with that, i shall finally dedicate more time to the blog. i'm serious about having more weekly features, along with my usual personal posts. 

so for now, buh bye!!!!! (but i'm sure i'll have an update post in a week or so!)
